With media’s interaction, Anjali Rattan stated that there is a difference in manufacturing a scooter and a motorcycle. The former can be manufactured in less than one year, but manufacturing an electric motorcycle requires lots of time. It took 2.5–3 years to develop this electric bike, RV1. The starting products take the maximum time in manufacturing. Then, we have a complete team for research and development with all the equipment. She added that we expected to roll out something new around Diwali every year.
Apart from the cells of the battery, all localized components have been used in RV1. China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Company, Ltd. (CATL) provided the battery pack. Anjali Rattan believes that in the coming times, the cells of the battery pack can also be manufactured in India. She further added that it is only our company that purchases battery packs from China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Company, Ltd. (CATL), as there is no fire accident with them. The manufacturing facility of Revolt Motors is in Manesar, Haryana.

1. Battery
RV1 is available with a 2.2 kWh battery capacity, and RV1 Plus has a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery. The company claims that the smaller battery offers a range of 100 km (eco-mode) on a single charge and the larger battery provides a 160 km (eco-mode) range. Both batteries have an IP67 rating for water resistance.
It provides 70 km/h of top speed. Revolt Motors provides a battery warranty for 5 years or 75,000 km.

The size of the front tyre is 90/80-17 and the rear is 110/80-17. The new RV1 has broader tyres, improving the stability and grip. It makes the RV1 suitable for longer rides.
It comes with dual-disk brakes. Its front fork is telescopic, and rear suspension is twin shocker. They improve performance and enhance safety.

To juice up the 0-80% battery, the new Revolt RV1 Electric Bike takes 2 hours, 15 minutes. With a normal charger, the RV1 Plus takes 3 hours and 30 minutes, but fast charging requires 1 hour and 20 minutes to juice up a 0-80 percent battery.
6. Ground Clearance and Wheelbase
Its kerb weight is 108 kg. The ground clearance of RV1 is 180 mm, and the wheelbase is 1350 mm.

The Revolt RV1 Electric Bike and the RV1 Plus are the two variants of the RV1 launched by the company.
