It includes a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers a range of up to 456 km. It has a 100-kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates 147.51 bhp and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The car produces 150 kmph top speed and 0-100 kmph acceleration in 8.3 seconds. The company claims the warranty of the battery is 8 years, or 160000 km.

It offers multiple charging options, such as a 50 kW DC fast charger, which takes 50 minutes to charge a 0-80% battery, and a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, which juices up a 0-100 percent battery in 6 hours and 30 minutes, whereas the battery takes 13 hours with a 15 A plug point. It offers a CCS II charging port.

The exterior of the car has projected headlamps, an integrated antenna, a roof rail, LED DRLs, LED taillights, an outside rear-view mirror, a moon roof, a rear window wiper, and a window defogger. Additionally, it offers satin inserts in door cladding and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Its standout features include an electric sunroof with anti-pitch, light-sensing headlamps, and drive modes.

The black interior of the electric car is eye-catching. It has a 17.78-cm touch-screen infotainment system, four speakers, the Bluesense+ app (which has 60+ connectivity features), smart watch connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, voice commands, and SMS read-out. It further includes illuminated sun visors with vanity mirrors, an instrument cluster with multi-color illumination, an air conditioner, a heater, leather seats, and a leather adjustable steering wheel.

The car is equipped with safety features such as six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, center locking, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, and a tyre pressure monitor. Its advanced safety kits include a panic braking signal, a reverse camera with adaptive guidelines, speed alerts, and a speed-sensing auto-door lock.

Mahindra XUV 400 EV is available for Rs 15.49–19.39 lakh, depending on variants. The car was launched in 2023.

Mahindra XUV.e8 is an electric version of the XUV 700. The length, width, and height of the car are 4740 mm, 1900 mm, and 1760 mm, with a ground clearance of 2762 mm.

It may come with a 60- to 80-kWh battery capacity. It is expected to have a dual-motor setup, which may generate 335 bhp. It could offer a tentative range of up to 500 km on full charge and 0-100 kmph speed in 5–6 seconds.

Its exterior may include headlamps and LEDs, which are quite attractive; a 360-degree camera, pop-outdoor handles, a 20-inch tyre size. At the side and the rear, the pattern is mostly like XUV 700. Like other EVs, the front grill is closed to improve its range and efficiency.

In the interior, it includes 5G connectivity, car-tech features with smart watch connectivity, a 10-inch touch screen, Sony speakers, a golden color tweak peak logo on the steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, over-the-air updates, etc.

Its battery capacity may be between 60 kWh and 80 kWh, with a WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure) exclaimed range of 450 km.

It underpins a 175kW fast charger and takes around 30 minutes to charge the battery by 0-80 percent. It may be suitable for rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). The electric powertrains may offer 285 PS for RWD and 394 PS for AWD models.

In the exterior, its front has no grill, and headlamps extended from side to side. At the rear, it has a shark fin antenna, an extended roof spoiler, an integrated high-mounted stop lamp, and new-design 20-inch alloy wheels.

In the interior, it may boast of three screens (a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrumental cluster, and passenger display), a center console, a two-spoke D-cut steering wheel, automatic climate control, a premium sound system, wireless phone charging, and ventilated seats.

Its safety features may include six airbags, ADAS features (adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency brake, lane assist, blind spot detection, traction control system, etc.), ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system, and radar.
