1. Tata Altroz EV

Tata Altroz

Tata Altroz EV is a hatchback electric car and it is the most awaited upcoming 3 electric cars by Tata in 2025 with the capacity of 5 passengers to sit. The length of Tata Altroz EV is 3988 mm, width is 1754 mm and height is 1505 mm with a wheelbase of 2501 mm.

This electric car is expected to come with 30 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 95kW electric motor. Its claimed range is 312 km on a single charge. With a fast charger, the EV takes 60 minutes to juice up the battery from 0-80 percent whereas it may take 8 hours with a AC charger.

Tata Altroz EV is built on ALFA platform. The exterior of the car includes a closed off front grille, sharp taillights and headlamps, and revamped alloy wheels.

To follow electric blue accents, Tata showcased the same Blue Teal paint option in Tata Altroz EV as it was on the Nexon EV. Even this blue colour continues in the interior. It includes a floating mobile holder on the dash board and a floating gear selector console at the centre of front seat.

Its features include a large touch screen infotainment system with the connectivity of apple car display and android auto, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and an illuminated logo on the steering wheel.

Its safety features may have two airbags and it has not been tested for safety ratings till yet.

It is expected to hit the road by January 2025 with an approximate price tag of Rs. 14 lakh. Tata Altroz EV competes with Tata Tigor EV and CitroeneC3.

2. Tata Sierra EV

The Sierra EV is expected to be a premium, stylish, C 1-Segment (that offers length range from 4000 mm to 4399 mm) electric SUV. It allows 5 people to sit in.

It is expected to come with 69 kWh battery capacity which can offer 170 kmph of maximum speed. It may be having Tata’s Ziptron powertrain and claimed driving range is up to 400 km. The length, width and height of the EV is 4300 mm, 1800 mm, and 1600 mm with a wheelbase of 2350 mm.

The exterior highlights LED DRL strips at the front and the back, diamond cut alloy wheels, integrated spoiler, roof rails, and a glossy ORVM.

The interior of the car is expected to have a premium touch such as four-seat lounge, a larger screen with digital display, a panoramic sunroof, touch controls for AC function, multiple seating layouts, wireless charging, four spoke steering wheel, etc.

Its safety kit may have multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

Its concept was first introduced at the Auto Expo of 2020 and then 2023. Tata motor revealed that it plans to possibly offer its both EV and ICE version by 2025. The tentative price could be Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It may available in four variants such as creative, fearless, fearless plus and empowered. The rival of Sierra EV may be Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.

3. Tata Avinya EV

Tata Avinya EV is a third-generation pure electric car. It is stated that Avinya is a Sanskrit word which means innovation. The company claimed that the car has been designed focusing on the Indian market. Tata Motors announced that Tata Avinya will be based on the electrified modular architecture (EMA) which supports advanced level of autonomous driving technologies and over-the-air feature additions.

Tata Avinya EV is futuristic suave style car. Its front design helps in aero dynamics that improves overall efficiency of the car. The length of the Tata Avinya is 4.3 meter and 200 mm of ground clearance. The company claimed its range up to 500 km. The car is expected to come with a huge battery pack with dual motors.

Exterior of the car has a sleek LED strip in a T shape and it is integrated with daytime running light, large alloy wheels, wide opening butterfly doors. At the rear it has engrained spoiler in to the design. Across the car, there is space for more aerodynamics that helps to improve the range of the vehicle. Its wheels are on edges, which make the car more spacious.

The visual appearance of the Tata Avinya EV concept car from inside is different as it focuses on more space and comfort.  It includes sunroof, ambient lightning, uniquely shaped steering that has Bluetooth and other menu buttons, and voice command recognition. At front it has a screen that displays the updates like battery range, air quality etc. At front seat, the speaker is neatly placed near the headrest. For front and rear passengers, AC vents are placed at the door and can be adjusted accordingly. The front seat can be turned easily at 360-degree. Floor of the car is made of sustainable material that gives a premium texture.

Its features include dust protected, advanced driver assistance, ADAS, and high structural safety. It may provide the feature of ultra-fast charging that will juice up the battery in 30 minutes only.

The first concept car of Tata Avinya was showcased in Auto Expo 2022. The estimated price of Tata Avinya is Rs. 30 lakh.
